71 new constables welcomed by South Wales Police

South Wales Police (SWP) have welcomed 71 new recruits to its rank and file during a special passing out parade held with Deputy Chief Constable Rachel Bacon on Wednesday, 29th June, at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.

The recruits, who had just completed six months of training, came through both the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship and Degree Holder Entry Programme routes and will be posted on Response teams across the Force area – the heart of uniformed policing.

South Wales Police are now recruiting for both those routes, plus a Fast Track to Detective scheme for those with a degree.
