THREE choirs will be singing at a free event in Barry on Tuesday, 9th July, 7.30pm at All Saints Church, Barry.
The concert showcases Barry Ladies Choir, Tonyrefail Ladies Choir and the joint choirs of St Peter’s and All Saints in the Vale. It aims to raise money and awareness of Llamau, a local charity working to end homelessness in Wales.

Tonyrefail Ladies Choir, led by Barry musicians Emily Gait-Scaglioni and Qi Zhang, are celebrating their 35th anniversary.
The St Peter’s and All Saints recently performed for services at Exeter Cathedral with the beautiful ‘Panis Angelicus’ and the Welsh anthem ‘O Ddewi Sanctaidd’ by the modern composer Meirion Wynn Jones.
The finale will be Barry Ladies Choir who are bidding a fond farewell to Matt Probert, their talented musical director. This year they have also enjoyed performing at Usk Choral Festival and GlastonBARRY Fringe Festival accompanied by Christopher Fossey.
Entry is free but donations can be made via cash, card or online. There will be refreshments in the interval plus a fantastic hamper raffle!
