Man dies following two car collision near Cowbridge
A MAN has died following a two-vehicle crash near Cowbridge. The collision happened on the A48 just after 5pm on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old unnamed male died as a result of the incident, and a second man was taken to hospital for his injuries.
A spokesperson from South Wales Police (SWP) said: “We were called to a serious road traffic collision on the A48 at Cowbridge shortly after 5pm on Wednesday, October 16 which involved a red Vauxhall Corsa and a green Land Rover Defender.
“As a result of the collision, a 35-year-old man from Port Talbot has died and another required hospital treatment for his injuries.
“We are appealing for any witnesses to the collision or anyone with dash cam footage or anyone who witnessed the manner in which either vehicle was being driven prior to the incidents to contact us quoting reference: 2400345160.”
At this time the male victim involved in the collision has not been named by police,
