Barry Male Voice Choir back by public demand

Barry Male Voice Choir (BMVC) was back in action to mark Make Music Day on Monday 21st June.

Glamorgan Music Service organised an outdoor performance in the grounds of Ysgol Gymraeg ant aruc to celebrate this international event.

Pupils performed solos, duets and ensemble pieces, closing with BMVC singing Nothing Like A Dame, Fields of   Athenry, Cwm Rhondda and Calon Lan.

Despite some technical difficulties Head of Glamorgan Music School, Caroline Venter said performing live again was “totally exhilarating and exciting.” All the performances are available on the Glamorgan Music school Facebook page.

  1. The school is Sant Baruc on St Paul’s Avenue 👍. Nice to see choirs slowly but surely getting back into the rhythm of things.
