VALE MS Jane Hutt joined the Vale of Glamorgan Festival’s Sundowner Walk in Llantwit Major, celebrating a successful festival run by Valeways volunteers.
The walk was the final one of the festival and was led by Rebecca Exley. It toured the old town of Llantwit Major, including stops at the Bethel Baptist Church, Lorna Hughes Park, Old Place, the Pond, Galilee Chapel and mediaeval dovecote.
Jane Hutt said: “During the enjoyable Sundowner Walk in Llantwit Major, I congratulated the volunteers who organised a very successful walking festival which attracted hundreds of attendees on 27 walks across the Vale.
“This is a great achievement, attracting local walkers and visitors from far and wide to enjoy walking on footpaths maintained by the Valeways volunteers and supported by the Vale Council.”
