Tom Hardy savours the fun of Barry Island Pleasure Park
STUNNED visitors did a double take when Hollywood actor and TV star Tom Hardy visited Barry Island Pleasure Park on Saturday, 24th July.
BAFTA award winner Tom Hardy met Pleasure Park owner, Henry Danter and chatted to public during his visit.
He is currently filming in Cardiff.
His film credits have included Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy; Mad Max: Fury Road; Inception; The Dark Knight Rises and Dunkirk.
TV credits include the BBC historical crime drama series Peaky Blinders and ITV’s Wuthering Heights.
He has also performed on stage in Britain and the USA.
Mr Danter said: “He was very pleasant to everybody.
“He said it was the best Park in Wales.
“I said ‘yes’.
“It was raining so it wasn’t the best time to come here, but he liked it very much.
“He said it was very nice here – I did ask him that and that’s what he said to me.”
