Cadstock music festival rocks again in 2022 – report and photos:

After a pause of two year, Cadstock music festival returned to Victoria Park in Cadoxton last weekend (16th-17th July).

Founded in 2009, the following years saw the festival grow bigger, greater and even more popular with locals and visitors alike.

There was a mixture and blend of music genres and styles including soft rock, music-on-demand, metal, soul, popular and ska.

The bands list who performed at the free event included: Black Jam Circus, 12-Bore, Stonehouse, Simmer Down, Grooveline, Dansette, Second Chance, Fortunate Sons, Falling from Grace, Tumbling Dice, Vacant Pistols, One Foot Indie Grave and Me+Him (plus Rich Rock).

After the festival a spokesperson for the organisers said: “What a weekend! Just finished putting it all away and want to say a massive thanks to everyone who helped, played, supported and came along to make Cadstock 2022 the best one ever.

“Amazing musicianship and singing all weekend long. Thank you all so much. We are so lucky to have all this talent at Cadstock – Flipping Amazing!”
