A BARRY man is the latest person to be jailed following a coordinated month-long operation by officers from South Wales Police (SWP) to disrupt county lines drugs supply.
Jack Thomas, 27, of Hilda Street, was arrested on 11th July after SWP executed a search warrant. Officers seized phones that were then linked directly to another phone seized from a man believed to be a runner for Thomas a month before.

A police spokesperson commented: “Active Best About, New 1 raw best about deals.
“This is a drug dealer’s sales patter.
“These messages were recovered from Jack Thomas’ ‘Fatz’ drugs line. Jack Thomas – who has the letters ‘Fatz’ tattooed on the fingers of his left hand – was jailed at Cardiff Crown court on Thursday (19 September).
“Messages like this would be sent out to hundreds of people at a time. They imply the ‘purity’ and ‘availability’ of the crack cocaine he was selling.
“After that man’s arrest, Jack Thomas launched his drug line on a new phone but officers identified him after obtaining CCTV from where he bought the device.”

After pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine at Cardiff Crown Court, Thomas was jailed for 30 months.
