Broad daylight robbery on teenager in city centre
South Wales police are appealing for information after a teenager was allegedly cornered in broad daylight on Church Hill Way, Cardiff and having a silver necklace stolen.
The 15-year-old boy was shopping with friends in Cardiff city centre at around 3.40pm on Thursday, 30th December when two males demanded his vape and mobile phone. When he refused they stole his silver chain necklace before running off down Queen Street.
On releasing an image of the suspects, a spokesperson for SW Police stated extensive CCTV enquiries were ongoing and that they are appealing for witnesses who might have seen the incident or can assist in identifying the suspects.
They are described as being in their late teens, of mixed race, wearing black puffer coats, black jogging bottoms and black trainers. One had a black balaclava, and both spoke with Cardiff accents.
