Climate conversation in Llantwit Major
LLANTWIT Major residents who want to be involved in a ‘climate conversation’ are invited to the CF 61 centre on Saturday 13th November, 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Organiser Chris Westoby told the Glamorgan Star: “This event is for people who care about the damage climate change is doing to our lives and planet. You don’t need to be an expert!
“The idea is to share encouragements and ideas for how we go forward. After introductions small groups will discuss different topics – housing, food/agriculture, energy, transport, biodiversity, creative responses, equality/fairness, climate change apathy.
“Our ideas will be passed onto our local councillors and Senedd members, some of whom hopefully will be present. The event is hosted by the local Labour party because we want to hear your ideas and work together for a better, greener, carbon zero future.”
