Conservatives call for a Wales Covid inquiry
Andrew RT Davies has today called for Welsh Government Ministers to back the Welsh Conservative motion calling for a Wales-specific COVID inquiry.
Thus far, the Welsh Government have refused to call a Wales-specific COVID inquiry.
Today, the Welsh Conservative will hold a debate in the Senedd calling for such an inquiry to be commissioned.
Commenting ahead of the debate, which he will close later today, Davies said: “Today is the last chance for Welsh Government to put politics to one side and back accountability.
“Labour Ministers like to claim they take different decisions when it comes to the pandemic, so why won’t they allow an inquiry into those decisions?
“People who have lost loved ones in the Vale of Glamorgan, in South Wales Central and across Wales throughout this pandemic deserve answers.”

YES. there should be a Wales only investigation into the handling of the pandemic.
Boris will be slated for his handling and in may instances deserves it, but why when Mark took his own path and said he has no time for Westminster he should MAN UP and have Welsh investigation, perhaps there’s a lot to hide???
Especially the care home fiasco that caused thousands of deaths he alone is responsible for that,
At start of vaccinations he was asked how many had been given his reply was about 40% i think Gething said the same the actual figure was nearer 23%, a fib. then the no need for masks, 2 months later we were told to wear one,
Doctors have said they were without PPE denied by WG, hospitals not under pressure said Gething , another two fibs.
So Mark Drakeford get a Welsh investigation, lets see what the TRUTH is. You are only deflecting from your handling and hiding.
