Europe’s lead singer sends debut concert good wishes to Barry band
A group of four young band members from Barry have received a personal message from Joey Tempest the frontman of Swedish rock band Europe within a day of their debut concert.

In the recorded message to the group, 8:48, the celebrity sent his good wishes to band members Kyle Bellamy (16), Dylan Hooper (17), Harrison Ollier (14) and Dylan Clarke (14) as they prepare for their concert being held at Whitmore High School in Barry on Thursday 28th April.
Europe is a Swedish rock band that rose to international fame in the 1980s after the release of their third album The Final Countdown which sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
Joey Tempest said: “Hi Joey here, sending some good wishes to Dylan, Kyle, Dylan and Harrison in the band 8:48.
“Your first gig guys, and you’re raising some money for Ukraine as well.
“Have a good one. It’s going to be great! See ya.”
The concert at Whitmore High School in Barry is a fundraising event in aid of the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Doors open at 7.00pm with the concert commencing at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £3.50 and may be bought in advance here or can be bought on the door.
