“Here we have a phenomenal donation from a member of the crew who worked on the TV series Gavin & Stacey. This clapperboard is from the final ever episode of the hit TV series, and has been signed by 12 members of the cast. This is surely a must-have for die-hard fans of this iconic Welsh TV show and all funds raised help us to make sure that when a child’s life will be short, no family will have to live it alone.”

The clapperboard measures 23cm high by 28cm wide and it is has been signed in a black permanent marker by (clockwise from top left) Robert Wilfort who plays Jason, the show’s co-creator and star James Cordon who plays Smithy and his fellow co-creator and star Ruth Jones, aka Nessa.

Also by Larry ‘the’ Lamb – Mick, Joanna Page – Stacey, Julia Davies – Dawn, Adrian Scarborough – Pete, Rob Brydon – Uncle Bryn, Melanie Walters – Gwen, Steffan Rhodri – Dave Coaches, Alison Steadman – Pam, and Matthew Horne – Gavin.

“I hope it raises some much needed funds for the wonderful Tŷ Hafan,” Ruth Jones told Tŷ Hafan.

Senior Fundraising Executive Helen Morgan, who received the donation from Steve, said: “We are very grateful to Steve, Ruth Jones, all the cast and all at Tidy Productions and Fulwell 73 Productions, for the incredibly generous donation of this unique clapperboard.

“We’re hoping to be able to raise as much money as possible from the sale of this amazing piece of Gavin and Stacey memorabilia because while we can’t stop a child’s life from being short, we can walk alongside that family every step of the way, through life, death and beyond.

“And every penny raised through the sale of this board will help us to reach even more families who need our support.”
