Sing for Finn at church concert

CHARITY event in aid of Finn’s Foundation will see Vale Voices, Barry Male Voice Choir (BMVC) and the Sing for Finn group on song.

A wide-ranging programme of entertainment and song from Vivaldi to Coldplay will take place on Sunday, 5th September at 2.30pm in St Helen’s Church, Wyndham Street, Barry.

Finn’s Foundation is a Barry charity set up for families of children with terminal or life-threatening conditions and this will be the foundation’s first live event for 18 months.

The Sing for Finn group was set up in July to provide an introduction to male voice singing and since it started two of the singers – James Ford and Lee Martin-Hine – have already joined BMVC.

The concert will be Lee and James’ first performance with Sing for Finn and BMVC, and James has gone one step further by singing in all three choirs on the day as he and fiancée Lisbeth will be singing with Vale Voices.

The McCabe family is delighted with the support from the three groups of singers and hope that all 100 tickets for the event will be snapped up. Tickets cost £10 at ticketsource.co.uk/sing-for-finn
