ST ATHAN clinched the Vale Premier Division title on Saturday, 20th April, with two games to spare as they won emphatically at Penarth Town by 6-1.
Anton Williamson hit four goals with Leow Morris and Sean Lucas adding the others. St Athan are deserved champions after an excellent three-way title race and await their fate in the SWFA promotion play offs with the other south Wales leagues.

Second placed Barry Athletic won a thriller of a game at Vale United 6-3. Vale fought back from two goals down before Athletic got back in front, only for United to level again. However, three more goals from Caton, Tipples and Wosciechowski saw Athletic pick up the points.
Another thriller saw Vale Athletic fight back from 4-1 down away at AFC Rhoose to draw 4-4, Gavin Lewis converting an injury time penalty to give Vale Athletic their first point of the season.
You don’t see one 4-4 and then two come along at once, as FC Barry battled back from 4-2 down against Island Marine. James O’Neill came off the bench to score twice to salvage the point for the home team.
In the Championship A, Tynewydd sealed the title with a 5-0 win away at Vale Madrid, goals from Harries, Donnelly, Griffiths, Pycroft and Parsons saw Tynewydd confirm the inevitable and win the league sitting 12 points clear at the top.
Cardiff Airport Vets moved up to second place after romping to a 6-0 win over Cadoxton Imps, Morgan Stavert Hawkins scoring twice as Airport eased to victory.
Cogan Coronation came out 4-2 winners over Barry Athletic Reserves. With the game poised at 2-2, veteran Dan Humphries put Cogan ahead before 16-year-old Ethan Galsworthy scored his first senior goal to seal the win.
In the Championship B, Peterston super Ely confirmed their status as league winners as they edged out St Athan Reserves 2-1, Lewis Evans spot kick the winner to claim the league for Peterston.
