Local artist helps All Saints pupils create a masterpiece:

The children at All Saints CiW Primary School have over recent weeks had the opportunity to work with local artist Jenny Lambert on an exciting school project.

Jenny Lambert has always loved to paint and her beautiful black lab Tinker is often an inspiration for her paintings; Tinker has become her ‘signature’ by making an appearance in all of her work. Sometimes you might have to look for her, but she’s in there somewhere!

In preparation for the project, the All Saints School ambassadors discussed what the painting should contain with children across the school.

The ambassadors then met Jenny Lambert who took the ideas away to sketch the outline of the painting. The children were insistent that All Saints Church, Rev Emma, and Rev Zoë were an integral part of the artwork.

Jenny came into school and over two days, groups of children from all the classes were able to spend time working with her to create the school picture. Rev Emma also came along to help with the artwork. She spent many an hour helping the children and also painstakingly painting All Saints Church.

We have recently taken delivery of the finished artwork, and everyone is over the moon with how amazing it looks. It will take pride of place in our school, and it will be enjoyed for many years to come.

We would like this opportunity to say thank you to Jenny Lambert for all her hard work as we are very proud of the finished masterpiece that truly represents our school, our church and local community.
