Cowbridge welcomes twin town guests
Cowbridge Town Twinning Association members were recently delighted to welcome a long-awaited visit by friends from Clisson for a long weekend.
The Twinning Association was established in 1991 and is twinned with the Medieval town of Clisson, which is situated at the confluence of the Sèvre Nantaise and the Moine rivers in the Loire-Atlantique Department in France.
The association welcomes members from Cowbridge and the surrounding villages. There have been many visits between the two towns, organised and hosted by the committee and members of each association. Members and guests have shared good food and wine, visited St Fagans and numerous other places, enjoyed a treasure hunt in Cowbridge and a good time was had by all 70-plus people involved, of all ages from teens to seniors. Anyone interested in joining the association should visit the website.
