Premier Division: League leaders Barry Athletic continued their unbeaten start to the season with an impressive 3–2 win away at St Athan. The visitors raced into a 0-3 lead in the first half with double from Toby Gent and one from Maksymilian Kaminski. St Athan pulled two back in the second half and Athletic held their nerve to secure another valuable three points.
Cardiff Airport Reserves claimed a huge away win in a closely-fought encounter. Despite Penarth Town’s strong start, Airport came from behind to take all three points with Ashton Hinton scoring in the 91st minute to win it. Airport remain unbeaten and sit three points behind Athletic with a game in hand.
Cwm Talwg produced a commanding performance at home, thumping Cadoxton Imps 5-1 to go third in the table. The hosts were clinical throughout, ending Imps recent good run of wins.
AFC Rhoose picked up their first league win of the season, cruising to victory with a dominant 4–0 win over Vale United Reserves.
Two each from Jack Blackmore and Adam Owens helped secure all three points for Island Marine. Two late Vale goals made it a nervy finish but Marine saw it through.
Championship
League leaders Rhoose Social needed a late Lloyd Jackson winner to see off Cowbridge Town 3-2. Social stay top by three points as points were dropped by the chasing pack.
Second placed Cogan Coronation Reserves and Cardiff Airport Vets played out a 10-goal thriller in a 5-5 draw. In a fantastic game, the Vets came back from 2-0 down, only for Cogan to take the lead twice more, with the Vets equalising three times and then taking the lead, only for Cogan to grab a deserved point with the last kick of the game.
Peterston super Ely moved up to seventh after coming from behind to see off AFC Rhoose Development 3-1.
Island Marine Reserves and St Athan Reserves played out a 3-3 draw as Marine came back from 1-3 down to score twice late on to get a point.
Vale Athletic got their first league win of the season, beating Porthkerry Panthers 6-1. The victory moves Athletic off the foot of the table and up four spots into 8th.
League One
Leaders Sparta Park made it 8 from 8 as they smashed St Athan Development 10-1. Nathan Donnelly scored five and set up the other three. Penarth Town Development went second with their own comprehensive win as they thumped Island Marine Development 10-2.
Third placed Llantwit Major Thirds got back to winning ways with a 4-1 win over Holton Road Reserves, Bradley Newman with a hat-trick. FC Barry edged Ely Rangers Wenvoe in the Station Road derby 1-0 to stay in fifth while Vale of Glamorgan Rovers edged Sully Sports Development 4-3 to move up to seventh place with doubles from Alex Morrissey and Ben Venton.
