THE Divisional league cups took centre stage this weekend.

In the Supporters Cup, Premier Division leaders Cardiff Airport Reserves crashed out as they lost 4-1 to Island Marine, Liam Mallam scoring twice.

Barry Athletic set up an Island semi-final against Island Marine with a 2-0 victory over Tynewydd, Theo Savva and Levi Williams with the goals.

St Athan edged AFC Rhoose 2-1, Sean Nash scoring twice late on with Jac Butler pulling one back at the death.

Penarth Town saw off Cadoxton Imps 4-2, Cameron Jenkins bagging a brace and Penarth will play St Athan in the semi-finals next month.

In the Dockers Cup, title favourites Vale Madrid were dumped out by Barry Athletic Reserves, in a seesaw battle of a game. Vale grabbed a late equaliser to force spot kicks, but it was Athletic who went through 4-2 on pens to the semi.

Championship league leaders Cwm Talwg eased into the last four with a 5-1 win over St Athan Reserves, Cole Roberts hitting a hat trick.

James Dixon scored twice as Cardiff Airport Vets came out on top in this Rhoose derby against Rhoose Social 3-2. Airport Vets now book a semi-final clash with Cwm Talwg.

Peterston super Ely advanced to play Barry Athletic Reserves following a 6-3 win over Island Marine Reserves, John Wooten scoring four.

In the Goodwood Cup, overwhelming favourites Dinas Powys Development saw off Cowbridge Town 4-0, Morgan Mitchem scoring twice.

Dinas will face Ely Rangers Reserves Wenvoe in the semi-final after their 3-0 win over St Athan Development, Sam Lloyd starring in the victory.

Porthkerry Panthers saw off Holton Road Reserves 4-0 with Evan Wells notching a brace to book a semi-final with Barry Athletic Development, who thumped Cadoxton Imps Seconds 6-2.
