Welsh cap for Ysgol Bro athlete

AN Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg pupil, Moli Lyons, recently represented Wales in a cross-country competition in Belfast.
Moli, year-13, was selected for the Welsh team based on previous trials. The race in Belfast was 4km, including a long uphill section. Moli will now go on to the Welsh Championships and Welsh Schools’ Championship to continue with her progress. She is a familiar face in the Welsh cross-country team, having represented them in the past on several occasions.
Mr Rhys Angell-Jones, headteacher at Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg said: “We are very proud of Moli and her achievements – although she is used to representing Wales, every event is special to us!
“She is a determined athlete but also a determined pupil who tries her best at everything she does. A great athlete, but also a valued member of our sixth form. We wish her well in all her future endeavours!”
