Cardiff Airport Reserves 3–0 Cogan Coronation Reserves – The reigning Premier Division champions showed their class with a comfortable win over a spirited Cogan side. Despite Cogan’s strong form in the Championship, Airport’s quality and experience proved too much as they cruised into the quarter-finals.
Dinas Powys Development 0–3 AFC Rhoose – A stunning result saw AFC Rhoose end Dinas Powys Development’s year-long unbeaten run. The Premier Division side were efficient and clinical, halting the Championship high-flyers’ impressive streak and booking their place in the next round.
Sparta Park 4–1 Cadoxton Imps – League One leaders Sparta Park used their vast experience to produced a superb display to dump out the Premier Division’s in-form Cadoxton Imps, Nathan Donnelly hitting hat trick in a statement victory.
Rhoose Social 2–1 Vale Athletic – Championship leaders Rhoose Social continued their strong campaign with a narrow victory over Vale Athletic. Despite a late push from Athletic, the Social held firm to move into the last eight and keep their promotion and cup dreams alive.
St Athan 6–0 Porthkerry Panthers – A ruthless performance from St Athan saw them dismantle Championship side Porthkerry Panthers. The Premier Division side’s attacking power was on full display as Sean Nash got a hat trick en route to the quarter finals in dominant fashion.
Vale Madrid 1–2 Penarth Town – Penarth Town edged out a battling Vale Madrid side in a tight Premier Division clash. Despite Madrid’s struggles this season, they pushed their higher-placed rivals all the way, but Penarth’s quality in key moments saw them progress.
Cwm Talwg 1–4 Barry Athletic – Cup holders Cwm Talwg bowed out in convincing fashion as Premier Division leaders Barry Athletic continued their unbeaten run. Athletic’s relentless form rolls on as Morgan Stavert-Hawkins hit a brace as Athletic installed themselves as favourites to lift the trophy after this commanding win.
