SPORT – Barry RFC move Saturday kick off time
BARRY RFC host their first home WRU Admiral National League Division One East Central fixture of the season on Saturday, 14th October, when Porth Harlequins are the visitors to the Reservoir Field.
The kick-off time has been brought forward to 1pm from 2.30pm so the match will finish in good time for supporters wanting to watch Wales’ World Cup quarter-final match against Argentina, which starts at 4pm.
Barry sits eighth in the division, with one win from their first two fixtures. Porth are fifth, having won two of their first three league matches.
Barry, who had no game last week, played a midweek friendly at Glamorgan Wanderers, the hosts winning 17-14.
Barry’s Youth team is also in action on Saturday when Penarth are the visitors for a Cardiff Rugby Region South Cup A fixture (1pm).
Barry, with two wins from their first two matches, are second on nine points, behind leaders Cowbridge, who have 15 points from four matches. Penarth are bottom, with no points, following defeats in their two fixtures.
