ON Saturday, 2 December, Asda Superstore in Barry kicked off the Christmas festivities with a special appearance by Michael Bublé tribute artist Richard Evans (Swing2bublé)
The event began with a fun colleague announcement over the store tannoy system for Mr Bublé to return to the customer service desk. Then customers could hear Mr Bublé say “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas”.
Richard sang a cheery mixture of Christmas favourites at the front of the store, while customers enjoyed the entertainment with a glass of Prosecco.
Natalie Jones (optical manager and wellbeing ambassador) said: “We wanted to start off our Christmas celebrations in style for both colleagues and customers. Our colleagues work incredibly hard at this time of year and we wanted to say a massive thank you for their support. Special thanks to Alice, Chloe and Charlene for making it happen.”
