Barry under-8s enjoy their time in the Arms Park spotlight
SPORT | Youth Rugby
Barry RFC’s under-8s had a late, but enjoyable, night on Saturday, 29th January, when they formed the guard of honour at the Cardiff v Leinster URC match at the Arms Park, and took part in a tag match at half-time.
“They all thoroughly enjoyed it,” said club committee member Glyn Pirso.
“They had huge smiles on their faces and, despite the late night, they all turned up on Sunday morning to play.”
He paid tribute to Cardiff’s players, who took time after the game to talk to the youngsters, pose for pictures and sign autographs.
