WELL-KNOWN local gardener and highly successful competitor at Dinas Powys Village Show, Cecil Townsend is to display his pumpkins and giant vegetables.
The display will be outside The Three Horseshoes Public House, in Dinas Powys village centre, on Friday 17th September in support of Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern (DPVC).
And there’s a competition to guess the weight of the vegetables.
DPVC is a local charity that provides transport, befriending and wellbeing services for older residents who live in the Dinas Powys area. The support that DPVC receives from Cecil and others in the community is greatly appreciated.
If you are unable to join Cecil on Friday, you can still make a donation to DPVC online here
Every penny you donate to DPVC is used to support village residents of Dinas Powys.
