On behalf of the Llantwit Major Town Council and its staff I wish to convey our profound condolences to the Royal Family following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We join with the country in mourning her passing and give thanks for her extraordinarily devoted service over seven decades.
Her Majesty gave her life to the service of this country, and she served us with dignity and grace over the years; years in which she was a rock to her family, the people of this country and to many countries of the Commonwealth around the world.
She will be deeply missed and may her dedication of service be a legacy and an example that lasts forever.
May she Rest in Peace.
