Horse racing round up with Brian Lee:
Llancarfan’s Evan Williams and Ogmore-By-Sea’s Christian Williams have had plenty to smile about of late.
At Worcester, Evan’s Peterborough, partnered by his daughter Isabel, got home by four-and-half lengths from the-well fancied Glajou and at Stratford, Christian’s Call Of The Loon, ridden by stable jockey Jack Tudor, was a comfortable winner of the handicap chase.
Not many jockeys get to ride 100-1 winners but the talented Charlie Price, who rides out for Aberthin’s Tim Vaughan, did just that when scoring on Mildean Felix in the maiden hurdle at Fontwell Park.
