Rotary Club pledges support to Marie Curie:
The guest speakers at Barry Rotary Club’s first December meeting in Barry Rugby Club were Jill Halpin and Lyn Hull, who spoke on their work with The Marie Curie organisation.
With 10,000 volunteers and 4,000 paid staff, the organisation has given outstanding support to people living with a terminal illness and their families over many years.
As part of their commitment to the community, Barry Rotary members have agreed to support the 2023 Great Daffodil Appeal and will be collecting in Morrisons, Barry, early in March.
