A PIECE of local football history was made at Jenner Park this month at the under-16 junior cup final.
The referee was Tiana Brown – also 16 – and Vale football administrators believe she is the first female to take control of a Vale football final. A spokesperson said: “A tremendous achievement, we are all very proud of her.”
Dinas Powys under-16s won the cup, beating Cogan Pirates.
