Fayre to offer volunteering opportunities:
Over 40 volunteer recruiting charitable organisations are coming together at Memo Arts Centre in Barry next week to offer opportunities that could make a real difference to people within the community.
Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is hosting the Volunteering Fayre on Monday 23rd January from 10am – 2pm.
A spokesperson for GVS said: “Volunteering is rewarding, fun, great for the CV and a fantastic way of meeting new people. If you have a small amount of time to spare each week and would like to make a difference in your community, visit the Fayre and have a relaxed chat with the organisations in need of support.”
“We hope to meet you on the 23rd January but if you cannot make the event, please contact GVS to find out what volunteering opportunities are available throughout the Vale of Glamorgan.”
GVS is available via: 01446 741706 or e-mail: . Website here.
