THE Barry Arts Festival is hosting storyteller and writer, Dick Johns, at Barry’s Park Hotel on Wednesday, 30th September at 8pm.
The experienced author and actor will be giving his ‘Words of Wisdom’ at the event, drawing upon an extensive career in writing, acting and comedy, which includes the Actors’ and Writers’ Yearbook short story prize in 2017 for his story collection ‘Dignity’.
Dick will be joined at the event by friends in an evening of warmth and humour, shared through poetry and song.
Barry Arts Festival organiser, Dot Connell, said:
“Dick is an accomplished storyteller and actor, with decades of experience. It will be an evening of laughter and song that also inspires us to reflect on our own lives and experiences.
“I would also like to thank Barry Town Council for its Vibrant Culture grant which supports us to put on events.”
