In October, Last Energy announced a proposal to deploy four 20 MWe micro-nuclear power plants at the site of the former coal-fired power station at Llynfi, Llangynwyd, Bridgend. The project aims to provide electricity to local industry. As part of its community engagement efforts, Last Energy will host regular consultations over the coming months.
