THE village of Penmark celebrated a remarkable milestone on 13th April — the 100th birthday of Muriel Jenkins.
Muriel moved to the village from her home in Barry over 50 years ago, running the village Post Office for many years.
Surrounded by family, friends, and neighbours, Muriel enjoyed a home-made afternoon tea, receiving many gifts and cards to celebrate the amazing achievement.
