Stabbing victim named as murder investigation continues
SOUTH Wales Police (SWP) have named a man who died following a stabbing incident in Barry just before midnight on Monday, 30th June.

A murder investigation has been launched following the death of Kamran Aman (38), a father of one from Barry.
Mr Aman’s family are being supported by specially trained police liaison officers.
Two teenage males – aged 16 and 17 – both from Llantwit Major, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
An incident room has been set up at Cardiff Central Police Station and detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Several streets were closed off close to Nearby Jenner Park Primary School in Barry with a large police presence in the areas of Barry Road junction of Herbert Street and Davies Street, Barry Road near Tuck in Cafe, Court Road junction of Davies Street, and Court Road junction of Hannah Street.
Vale of Glamorgan Council have confirmed that Jenner Park Primary School will be open to all pupils on Wednesday, 2nd July.
Detective Superintendent Mark O’Shea, of SWP Major Crime Team, said: “Extensive enquiries are continuing as we establish the tragic events which took place on Monday night. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Kamran Aman.
“Police cordons and road closures are still in place, and I would like to thank the community for their continued support and understanding while we progress the investigation.
“We are appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please come forward with information no matter how insignificant they may feel it is.”
