Remembrance events on Saturday and Sunday in Bridgend

BRIDGEND Town Council co-ordinated two events in the town centre on Remembrance weekend.

A Children and Family Parade and Service took place on Saturday, 8th November. This event aims to help children understand the importance of Remembrance, creating a truly meaningful morning for everyone.

Rev Rachel Wheeler took the Service, helped by her puppets, Grandad and Poppy, to explain why it is so important to remember the sacrifices made by those who have served and continue to serve to protect us all.
