Barry pupils tackle summer learning challenge
PUPILS at a Barry primary school are celebrating their success after taking part in a nationwide Maths and English challenge.
A group of 12 children at All Saints Church in Wales Primary School recently received awards after taking part in the Annual DoodleLearning Summer challenge. This involved using the company’s educational apps every day during the holidays.

Mrs Louise Webb, Maths and Numeracy Lead at the school said: “The children demonstrated extraordinary determination and enthusiasm in this year’s summer challenges. With the guidance of their teachers and parents, many pupils embraced the challenges as a fun and rewarding way to continue their education outside of the classroom.”
Designed to be used for just 10 minutes a day, Discovery Education’s DoodleMaths and DoodleEnglish use the latest advances in learning and motivational psychology to raise attainment and boost confidence in maths and English.
