THE Barry Sea Cadets were delighted to be presented with a cheque of £2,000 by representatives of Associated British Ports (ABP) at their recent parade night.
ABP said that the donation was in recognition of the important role the Sea Cadets play in supporting young people within their community.
A Barry Sea Cadets spokesperson said: “This donation will enable Barry Sea Cadets to develop and progress with our training and thrive within the sea cadets’ experience. A huge thank you from all at Barry Sea Cadets to ABP.”
