Llantwit arts groups’ first exhibition for three years.
The Llantwit Major Arts and Crafts Group held its first exhibition since 2019 on recently (9-10th July) in a new venue; the CF61 Community Hall.
The event proved extremely successful with a steady stream of visitors viewing the art exhibits and making purchases at various stalls.
The exhibition was opened by Llantwit Major Mayor, Cllr Gerwyn Thomas and his consort Glenys.
The sales tables did good trade in various items including soft toys, greetings cards, framed paintings, and books by the two published authors present.
The group caters for people with a wide range of art and craft hobbies, they meet on the first and third Thursdays of every month except August. The venue is the CF61 Community Hall, the meetings run from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. The group often invites speakers to talk on specialist subjects and give demonstrations.
