Sea Cadets shocked after outboard motor theft:
Barry Sea Cadets have been shocked after a break-in at their water sports centre.
Three outboard motors were stolen on the night of Monday, 26th September, from the Barry Community Water Activity Centre. The stolen items included two Tohatsu 15hp outboards belonging to 6th Barry Sea Scouts and a Honda 20hp belonging to the Tir a Mor Scouts.
Officer in Charge Alison Edwards said: “Barry is a small unit and over half of our Cadets have special educational needs, so we cannot afford this loss. Coming so soon after the elation of winning the National Sailing Regatta, it is a real blow.”
If anyone has any information they should contact the Police.
