Local show season is in full swing:
With the Vale of Glamorgan Show just around the corner (see the feature in last week’s printed edition of the Glamorgan Star) it means that the agricultural show season is now in full swing.
Recently, the Bridgend County Show took place, and local photographer Glyn Evans visited to capture the atmosphere.
This year, the show moved from its base in Pencoed, heading a few miles down the road to Llangan, where it took place over two days.
The event was angled towards the equine aspects of country life, while there were also chances to meet the Glamorgan Small Holders, as well as browsing the craft tents and enjoying some freshly-cooked country produce.
