THE All Saints C/W Primary School community came together to celebrate World Mental Health Day recently, making the school a sea of yellow. The day was called Young Minds #HelloYellow, raising awareness for mental health among children and young people.
Children and staff looked fantastic in their yellow hats, t-shirts, and costumes, creating a vibrant atmosphere across the school. The initiative aimed to show children that they are not alone in their mental health journey, offering a message of hope and support.
Every year, schools and communities across the country come together on World Mental Health Day by wearing yellow. With today’s world presenting many challenges, it is essential for young people to know they don’t have to face these difficulties alone. There is always support, and things can improve.
Throughout the day, the school embraced this message by organising various activities, all focused on raising mental health awareness and standing together. The event was a reminder that, as a community, we can support one another to create a brighter future. Together, we stand brighter, supporting young minds every step of the way.
