THE Llantwit Major Local History Society (LMHS) is asking for information about a fascinating 76-year-old photograph.
LMHS spokeswoman Heather March said: “We believe the photo was entitled ‘Keeping Llantwit Safe’ and it was taken in 1945. It features members of the Red Cross outside the Old School.
“Do you know names? We know a few but if you can identify or give us information (residences are interesting) please send to (our digital archivist) or ring Sue Pattinson, secretary on 07742 178342 to make an appointment to visit the Archive Room, Old School, which is open on Fridays 2pm to 4pm.”
