LLANTWIT Major School is celebrating its best ever A-Level results after nearly half of the year group achieved the very highest grades.
A statement said that 44 per cent of learners achieved A* or A grades, 89 per cent achieved A* to C grades and 99 per cent recorded A* to E grades.
A school spokesperson said: “A few notable performances included Maddison Lindsay, who gained an A* and three As and is now going to Harper and Keele University to study Veterinary Medicine.
“Mathew Bramhall achieved A*, A* in Psychology and Geography and a Distinction* in Sport.
“Alex Robson achieved A, A, A in Geography, Psychology and Welsh Baccalaureate and a Distinction * in Sport and Abigail Fisher secured an impressive A* A* A and Bethan Rendall achieved four A grades.”
Rob Jones, the director of Sixth Form, said: “I am so proud of this year group’s achievements. This exceptional set of A-Level results truly reflect the dedication and resilience of each and every one of our students. Well done year-13 – hard work pays off!”
