MP organises public meeting to discuss Ukraine crisis
A public meeting to discuss the Ukraine Crisis and the Vale’s response will be held this Thursday (17th March) at 7.00pm at the Duke of Wellington, Cowbridge.
Vale MP Alun Cairns has organised the event to provide an opportunity for the community of Cowbridge to discuss and engage with the issues ongoing in Ukraine and the ensuing refugee crisis.
Mr Cairns commented: “It will be an opportunity to consider the challenges and risks faced in Ukraine and across Europe, including the UK and NATO response. We will also consider how best to support Ukrainian families and I will share the latest information on the proposed methods of helping. Local residents with knowledge of supporting families from war torn parts of the world will be present to share their experiences.
“I look forward to welcoming as many people as possible. Please share the word to friends and family who may also be interested.
“All Vale of Glamorgan residents are welcome.”
