Public urged to plan ahead for M4 slip road closures

Public urged to plan ahead for M4 slip road closures:
Essential works to clear hazardous trees by the M4 between J34 (Miskin) and J37 (Pyle) will start this Sunday, 8th January and will last eight weeks.
The works are being organised by the Welsh Government and will be mainly undertaken using the hard shoulder with lane 1 and 2 closures where necessary.
However, total closures of some slip roads between J34 and J37 will also be required on certain nights.
Total closures of slip roads will be in place at the following locations between 8.00pm and 6.00am. Please note the dates may be subject to change:
• Junction 35 westbound on slip (Pencoed) – 9th and 11th January
• Junction 36 westbound on slip (Sarn Park) – 19th and 20th January and 22nd and 23rd January
• Junction 36 eastbound on slip (Sarn Park) – 15th and 17th February
• Junction 36 eastbound off slip (Sarn Park) – 19th and 20th February.
Towards the end of the programme, daytime lane closures will be required between 9.30am and 3.30pm for up to six working days – exact dates to be confirmed.
