Carol takes over at Lions Club:
The outgoing president of the Llantwit Major and Cowbridge Lions, Dave Cox, recently handed the chain of office to the incoming president Carol Sloan.
Assisting Carol in the next 12 months will be vice president Roland Hughes.
Lions work hard to raise money for donations to charitable causes. They also support Cowbridge Monday Club, which assists adults with learning difficulties, and the Vale Stroke Support Group which meets on the third Tuesday of the month at Llantonian Hall in Llantwit Major.
