Assault in Barry sparks police appeal for witnesses

Officers from South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward regarding an alleged assault that took place earlier this week on Tuesday, 18th January.

The incident occurred at about 10.00pm in the vicinity of the King William IV public house on Bridge Street, Cadoxton.

Taking to social media, police stated: “We would also like to speak to anyone who may have interacted with those involved after the incident.

“We believe that two people may have gone to Tesco’s in Barry Road after the incident and were offered help from a doctor.

“Extensive CCTV enquiries are ongoing however we are appealing for any witnesses who might have seen the incident or interacted with the two people after the incident.”
