Actor Forest Whitaker shares Penarth holiday snap
Oscar-winning producer and actor Forest Whitaker has taken to social media to share photos of himself enjoying a break from filming in Wales, including at the iconic pier in Penarth.
The 60-year-old American actor posted his holiday snaps with a one-line comment, “Enjoying time in the beautiful Wales before going back to set.”
Other photos posted on the Tweet on Tuesday 31st August, included the actor standing in front of St Catherine’s Island in Tenby, and at Tredegar House Lake, Newport.
The celebrity is filming in Wales for the Netflix film Havoc alongside co-star Tom Hardy who has himself been spotted in the Vale of Glamorgan when he shocked fans by visiting Barry Island Pleasure Park twice in July.

Forest Whitaker has performed a variety of acting roles within the film and television industry, including: Arrival, The Butler, The Last King of Scotland, Panic Room and Zuri – Black Panther.
