POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a house burglary near Penarth in which high valued items and a large quantity of cash was stolen.

Sometime between 11th-12th August a home in the Penarth area was entered and a distinctive gold coloured Rolex Day-Date 40 (model 228238) was taken along with a silver Citizen Eco-Drive watch and approximately £2,000 in cash.
South Wales Police (SWP) have released an image of a similar gold coloured Rolex watch and ask that if anyone has seen a watch like it or has information regarding the burglary to contact them using any of the methods below, quoting 2600262942.
