Police name victim after fatal collision

A motorist who died after the Hyundai car he was driving was involved in a collision on Maindy Road, Cardiff on 6th February, has been named by South Wales Police.

He is Bradley James, 45, from Cathays, Cardiff.

His family have released the following tribute:

“Brad James was a young man who dedicated his life to helping others. His family, friends and his work family are devastated at his sudden passing far too soon.

“Brad was loved so very much by all who knew him. Anyone who met him would instantly feel at ease with his warm and down to earth ways. He was highly respected by all who knew him.

“Brad was an amazing son, brother, family member and doctor and he enriched everyone’s lives. His dedication to wanting to be a doctor and work for others was his lifelong passion since a child.

“A truly beloved family member and NHS hero who will be greatly missed.”
